Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using IBEX Wallet, or by using ibexwallet.co.uk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software or the website.

2. Non-custodial service

IBEX provides wallet software. IBEX does not hold, control or have access to your cryptoassets, private keys or recovery phrase. We cannot move, freeze, reverse or recover funds, and we are not a bank, broker, exchange or custodian.

3. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and legally permitted to use cryptoasset software. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws that apply to you.

4. Your responsibilities

• Securing your device, wallet password and recovery phrase.
• Verifying addresses, networks and fees before authorising transactions.
• Downloading the software only from official IBEX domains.
• Keeping an offline backup of your recovery phrase.

5. Prohibited use

You must not use IBEX for unlawful activity, to infringe others' rights, to attempt to compromise the software or its users, or to redistribute modified builds represented as official IBEX releases.

6. Third-party services

Certain features may interact with third-party providers, including swap liquidity and blockchain infrastructure. Those services are governed by their own terms and IBEX is not responsible for their availability, pricing or execution.

7. No warranty

The software and website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IBEX is not liable for loss of cryptoassets, loss of profits, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the software or website, including losses caused by a lost recovery phrase, a mistaken transaction, malware on your device, or third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. No advice

Nothing provided by IBEX is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. See the Risk Disclosure before using the wallet.

10. Intellectual property

The IBEX name, brand assets and website content remain the property of their respective owners and may not be used to imply endorsement or affiliation.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms or modify, suspend or discontinue features. Because the wallet is non-custodial, your assets remain accessible with your recovery phrase regardless of any change to the software.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
